There are many opinions about how eliminating Plan F will save money. The general consensus is that seniors will go to the doctor less often if they have to pay out-of-pocket.

Supplements don't and can't cover your prescriptions. This is a change from years past. By law, supplemental insurance must cover what Original Medicare covers, and nothing more. The only exception is foreign travel coverage.

Utah Medicare Supplements are Regulated by Law
By law, all Medicare Supplements sold in the state of Utah are standardized. This means that every policy must be clearly identified as Medicare Supplement Insurance and it must offer the exact coverage allowed. This allows all plans to compete on price (premium).
All Medicare Supplements sold in Utah provide the same general benefits, however, some provide more gap coverage. This lets you to select the plan with the amount of insurance you want.
Each carrier markets the policies it deems best. Insurers:
- Are not required to offer every plan
- Must offer Plan A
- Must also offer Plan C or Plan F
